Disney has started a series of twisted tales, basically the classic Disney story but with a twist. This is the third book in the series but only the second one I have read. The first one I read was the first in the series based on Aladdin, that one stayed pretty true to the story until the twist then it was different. This book, however, starts off with a bit of a twist and has the same basis as the original Disney story but with a lot of different details and spins and twists on the classic. It was very interesting and a fun read. i was a little slow in reading it at first but once I got about two thirds through, it picked up pace and I started going through it faster. If you like Beauty and the Beast, I’d say you’d probably also like this book and the new take on it (especially as it gives a backstory to the characters and more depth to the overall story). The author is very good at writing so that definitely helps as well!
