Book Review: The Door to December by Dean Koontz

I have read this book a long time ago but couldn’t remember it so decided to read it again. I loved it just as much the second time as I did the first! This book is interesting and becomes more interesting and is definitely a page turner as you want to just keep reading to see what will happen. There is some language and maybe a sex scene but neither of those were too noticeable and didn’t take away from the story. There is child abuse mentioned and a lot of violence; some people would probably say graphic violence but I’m either not that bothered  by it or it wasn’t that bad. If you like Dean Koontz, Stephen King and books of that sort – then I’d definitely recommend this one. Even though it was written in 1984, it’s still great. He does seem to use the term “autism” to mean mute or something similar but it doesn’t seem to be done intentionally or in an offensive way but if that would bother you, then maybe skip this book.
