Book Review: Follow Me by David Platt

Follow Me

This book was okay. I really enjoyed the beginning where he explains why it doesn’t make sense to tell someone that they need to invite Jesus into their heart. In one chapter, he seems to put too much emphasis on emotion and I didn’t quite agree with it because some people show and express and feel less emotion than others but I don’t think that makes them less of a Christian. The main part of the book is about witnessing and why it is important but I feel like the book talked about it more as a big picture idea than in a practical, real sense. Overall, this isn’t a bad book but I’d say there are better Christian books out there.
